Firewall Defence: Security Controls
Controls only work if they are real. Config drift, a misconfigured Terraform plan, a poisoned build, shadow SaaS and a toxic permission combo, then a cloud APT that chains every gap. 10 waves. Build the right security control beside the path before each attack arrives.
How to play
- Each control fully stops only its own attack. A WAF does nothing to a brute-force bot. Pick the real control for each threat.
- Upgrade controls twice. Each level is a real hardening step (bot management, number-matching push, micro-segmentation).
- Read the threat intel before each new attack: what it is, a real log line, its MITRE ATT&CK technique and the control.
- Answer a technical question after every wave for bonus coins. The attack log explains every leak.
- Clear it by surviving all 10 waves with at least 8 of 20 health and 60% of questions right.
